Since early childhood, Rohit liked talking to people and helping them with their chores, especially elderly people. He always felt connected to their pains and aches and wished to help them in some way to feel better. As he grew up in a family of many doctors, he realized that by choosing Physiotherapy, he will be able to fulfill my childhood dream. Henceforth, his journey of care began, with 14 years of experience in clinical practice and it’s ongoing . During his master’s program (sports medicine), he got the opportunity to work with athletes which led him to work with the hockey teams at national level. This provided him with a whole new perspective of injuries in youth and fun ways of rehabilitation for them.
One of the things Rohit likes most about his job is the variety of conditions he gets to treat while dealing with a varied range of population from all walks of life. This prevents monotony and keeps up the excitement of treating something challenging each day. Although he enjoys working with all types of injuries, chronic pain, neck, back and knee osteoarthritis, post-surgical rehabilitation and sports injuries are some of his areas of interest in fields of practice and research. Altruism through physiotherapy’ is the motto of this multifaceted physiotherapist.
